CORE VALUES

  • LOVE

We are committed to walk in agape (love) as a body of believers.

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. (Luke 10:27)

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (1 John 4:7-9)

  • WORD

We are committed to using the Word of God as our landmark. We will stay safe in the boundaries of the Word of God.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;  (Hebrews 1:3)

The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. (Isaiah 9:8 )

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. (Psalm 138:2)

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

(John 1 :1-3)

  • REDEMPTION

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12)

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Colossians 1:13-14)

 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. ( Revelation 5:9-10)

  • SALVATION & DISCIPLESHIP

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

(1Timothy 2:3-5)

18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”  (Matthew 28:18-19)

  • THE KINGDOM OF GOD

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  (Matthew 6:33)

18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?19It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. (Luke 13:18)

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand “Heal the sick, raise the         dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons  (Matthew 10:7-8)

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.  (3 John 1:2)

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  (Matthew 24:14)

  • HOLY SPIRIT But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. (John 14:26(AMP))

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  (Acts 1:8)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.  (Isaiah 10:27)

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; (Isaiah 11:2)

  • WORSHIP

We are committed to a lifestyle of worship every day of the week.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)

  • WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (1 Corinthians 1:30)
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure. (Isaiah 33:6)

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:24)

  • CONSECRATION—PURITY

We have a commitment to live in purity as a church.

Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience  (1 Timothy 3:9)

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

(2 Timothy 2:19)

I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
(Job 31:1)

  • THE BLESSING

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:14)

Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. (Genesis 5:2)

  • PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING

We are committed to being a people of praise and thanksgiving. Praise is a great assert for every believer and we enter into God’s presence with thanksgiving.

And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, who were come against Judah; and they were defeated. (2 Chronicles 20:22)

 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.  (Psalm 149:5-9)

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;  (Ephesians 5:20)

  • GIVING–GENEROSITY

We long to be an extension of God’s love on the earth.

We cloth and feed the poor and homeless and partner with other ministries by giving a minimum of 10% out of this ministry to other Word-based ministries who are actively winning souls and/or discipling men and women to expand the Kingdom of God around the globe.

 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.(2 Corinthians 9:7 NKJV)

Now may[a] He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, (2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJV)

  •         PRAYER AND FASTING
  • We are a church committed to prayer and fasting. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: (1 John 5:14)And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.  (Luke 5:16)

    Moreover when ye fast… (Matthew 6:16)

    Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

    (Isaiah 58:5)
