YOUTH MIDDLE SCHOOL HIGH SCHOOL
Welcome to our Youth / Middle School Program page. Older kids begin to ask questions. Some questions are easier than others. At WMCI we tell our youth there are no dumb questions.
Whether they have questions about false religions, evolution, finances…we make this a safe place where they can be heard and receive real answers from teachers who love and care for them.
We’re intentional about making each session fun while ensuring the youth are truly grounded in what last building an unshakeable faith in God, that stands the test of time.
Genesis 18:18-20 tells us
18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Abraham had a testimony with God to teach his household and his children—As a church family we believe we have a responsibility to partner with parents in raising stalwart Christians.

Mark 4:16-17 King James Version (KJV)
16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:39-42 (NKJV)
39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’[a] feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And Jesus[b] answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
We seek to bring to the our youth an all rounded curriculum enriching them: Spirit, Soul and Body
Below are the same topics elaborated on a little more
TOPICS WE WILL LOOK AT ARE:

We want to raise our kids to be leaders—leadership in God’s kingdom is service.

Proverbs 22:24 King James Version (KJV)
Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

WHY ARE WE CHRISTIANS~ EVOLUTION~ FALSE RELIGIONS
Statistics show most evangelicals loose their childrens in middle school higher numbers in high school and finally in college.
1 Peter 3:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
2 Corinthians 11:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Here we will answer questions and help them see the deceptions in Evolution, False religions
We will allow questions which will help solidify the good foundations you’ve already laid down for them.
I will also be helping with my background in these studies
Our goal is to proactively answer questions we know they will have in the future
- HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD
Matthew 16:20-23 (NIV)
20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
Jesus Predicts His Death
21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.
22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”
23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
Peter had yielded himself to the wrong voice without knowing.
1 Samuel 3 (NIV)
3 The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.
2 One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. 3 The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. 4 Then the Lord called Samuel.
