Anointing Service

1 Samuel 16:10
And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 Then Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all your sons here?” And he said, “There remains yet the youngest,[a] but behold, he is keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and get him, for we will not sit down till he comes here.” 12 And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he.” 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

As a believer, we have an advantage. We are not limited by who we know, what talents we have, how much money we have…
The anointing is an empowerment from God to help you overcome what you couldn’t do on your own.
A yoke is anything holding you back.
Isaiah 10:27 states:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

The anointing of God breaks every yoke.

The anointing helps us accomplish dreams we couldn’t accomplish in our natural ability.

When Jesus is Lord in your life His anointing is available to place you above circumstances.
God’s anointing is on you as a believer to place you above your circumstances.

Luke 4:18 states:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Our Lord Jesus was anointed to preach, to heal, to deliver …
therefore we can pray for God’s anointing as we step into new stages in life; as we start college, as we start a new job, as we become new parents and in every area…
