Throughout the scriptures we see God is interested in children and the next generation:

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.(Genesis 18:18-19)

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 11:18-19

It is our vision at children’s church, to equip and intentionally disciple your children with the solid meat of the Word of God. When children have a solid base in the Word they grow to be successful Christians–leaving indelible footprints in the sands of time.

Curriculum choices will be fun and purposefully grounded on Word of God; as this will build a solid foundation that helps them overcome life’s challenges.

In the next few weeks we will be looking at Integrity and people who demonstrated integrity in the Bible.

Integrity comes from the Latin word Integer

Integers are whole numbers

Whole numbers such as 1, 12, 23 are integers but never 2/3 or 4/7, these are fractions.

God will have us whole not fractured.

Some people who demonstrated integrity include:

Job, Joseph, Ruth, Mary, Daniel…

1 Thessalonians 5:23 states

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Also Luke 10:27 states
The man answered, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
There will be new songs, videos to watch and Bible games; the Word of God will be intertwined throughout each lesson.
